The Title is a single line of text that appears as a ‘header’ on each page of the report to identify the name or address of the project concerned. The Notes appear at the bottom of the Appraisal and are useful for entering narrative and assumptions used. To enter a Title or Notes click the ‘Title’ button, this will display a dialog box allowing either of these to be entered. Note: This facility can also be accessed directly from the Data List using the File-Options menu. Title This is a free-form title for the property, for example “201 Anywhere Street, Anytown - First Analysis” would be valid, but you can enter almost anything you like. So as to ensure the title fits onto one line in the printout the Title is limited to 75 characters (including spaces). Some formatting characters cannot be entered, such as “&,\~ but you are otherwise free to make this as descriptive as you wish. The title will appear on all of the printouts and can be seen in Page Layout mode. Notes This is a free-form way of entering any specific notes about the property. You can enter up to 10,000 characters. An easy way of entering notes is to ‘cut and paste’ them from an editor or word processor. To paste text into Prodev click on the Notes entry box (so that the vertical cursor bar appears) then type Ctrl+V (press the Ctrl key and whilst still holding it down, press the letter ‘V’).
