On Prodev’s main Data List click on the File menu and choose Open File, this will display the Open File dialog box. You will probably be familiar with the format as it is the standard file open method used in numerous other Windows applications.
A list of Prodev files will be displayed (if you are using Prodev for the first time then there may only be one file present, the ‘Example Project’ file). To open a file either double-click on the filename or use the mouse or cursor keys to select the file and then click the ‘Open’ button. This will open the file and return to the Data List.
Note: If you already have an active appraisal open and you use the Open File dialog to load an alternative file then Prodev will need to remove the active appraisal from memory beforehand. If Prodev detects that changes have been made to the active appraisal then it will inform you of this and ask you if you wish to save it prior to loading the new one.
