Registering and Starting Prodev |

Registering Prodev Prodev requires Registration before use. The first time you start Prodev the screen will display a 'Token Number' and request a Registration Code. You will need to contact IPS and quote your company name along with the displayed Token Number. Our contact details are set out on the back page of this manual.
IPS will generate, and provide to you, the appropriate Registration Code which you type in where indicated. Click OK and Prodev will then display a message confirming whether or not registration was successful. You will only have to register Prodev the first time you install it, or when re-installing Prodev on a new computer or new hard disk. However if the computer on which Prodev has been installed has several different users each with a separate login (username and password) then separate registration codes are required for each user requiring access to Prodev. Register via Email You can also register via email. Simply click the ‘Register via Email’ button on the registration screen and follow the instructions displayed in your web browser (as shown below). This allows you to create an email to us with the Token Number already provided. All you need to do is identify yourself to us in the email.
Starting Prodev Click on Start | Programs | Prodev 4020 Series and select the Prodev icon. There should also be a further Prodev icon placed on your Desktop that you can double-click to start Prodev.
Interim Release password Certain versions of Prodev may prompt you for an Interim Release Password following registration. Contact IPS if you require this password. Our contact details are set out on the back page of this manual.
